I adore chickens and roosters.  Our area has approved homeowners to have backyard chickens and I would love to own them.  Just a few problems immediately arise though : a husband who says, "absolutely not" (plus he's allergic to everything) and foxes.  We have a fox that has a well-worn path through our yard.  She is lovely to watch until you think your pet might become her dinner.

Anyway, a rooster will try to kill any competing males and I would never be able to choose just one type of rooster.  They are all so beautiful.
