Where Sea Meets Sky
Summer beach time brings soothing, sometimes exciting, magical moments. Especially when a few (non-threatening) clouds appear to catch that Golden Hour of sun as it kisses the horizon.
"Where Sea Meets Sky"
9" x 12" oil on canvas board.

Cage Free -- 30-in-30, Day Four -- SOLD
"Bird in Hand"
Cage Free Series 011
Unlike our current weather (which is way too hot!), this little guy looks a little chilly. Maybe he's out on a November morning.
After yesterday morning's mild disaster (is that a thing?) of no tea in the teapot the day turned out pretty well. I made it to work on time... yay!! Work was a little slow due to a machine being broken so I used the time to catch up on emails and got in my hour of walking in the nice, cool, air conditioned factory building. Walking outside at 90 degrees with 90% humidity is no treat! I also ran into a dear friend in the grocery store that I have not seen in probably a year. Sadly, both our lives are crazy right now and there are no plans to get together again soon but it was so SO good to run into her.
Last night I remembered to set up the teapot so there IS tea this morning and now this post is finished so I even have time to make a lunch.
"Bird in Hand"
6" x 6" oil on gessobord, unframed.
This painting is available through Daily Paintworks Auction.

No. 2 Sunrise Virginia Beach
No. 2 Sunrise Virginia Beach
No, you're not seeing double. I liked this sunrise so much I wanted to paint it again. A few changes in this one from the first. Both have admirable qualities and I truly do like them both.

Sunrise Virginia Beach
Sunrise Virginia Beach
If I can wake up early enough, I often find some really brilliant sunrises. This painting is from a photo I took in Virginia Beach, VA last summer.
