Reading Spot

30 Days of Comfort and Joy, Day Six

My comfortable spot for reading books, magazines, or watching TV.  It's also nice for a little nap, on occasion.

Education or Fantasy?

30 Paintings, Day Two

A stack of books and a pair of vintage Pince-nez glasses.  These are my joys for painting number two.  Immersing myself in a book is a wonderful way to spend a (rare) quiet evening.  So what do I read most often?  I love horror books and other fiction as well as classics.

I am told the viewers do not like a red background for art so I'm trying this lighter color scheme.  Let me know what you think.  Back to red?  Something else?
